Fully automatic inspection
of lenses and optics

MA micro automation GmbH and DIOPTIC GmbH have jointly developed the first fully automatic system for the inspection of optical surfaces with the high-resolution inspection system ARGOS®. We offer the possibility of performing the manual inspection of optical surfaces in a highly efficient and repeatable automated manner.

Depending on the desired inspection characteristics, the system offers the possibility of testing high throughput volumes on optical surfaces and classifying them according to DIN ISO 10110-7 in up to 24/7 operation. Optionally available additional modules such as palletisers, flow boxes and feed systems allow the system to be adapted to your product and at the same time ensure the necessary environmental conditions for testing.

ARGOS® – Quality inspection of optics

With the ARGOS® system from the company DIOPTIC GmbH a rapid inspection and automatic evaluation of optical surfaces is possible. Inspect and certify lenses, plano optics, and mirrors for the following types of imperfections:

  • Holes
  • Scratches
  • Edge cracks
  • Coating holes
  • Soiling
  • Bubbles and entrapments
  • Incorrect volume

ARGOS® is user-independent and easy to control. There are objective results which are statistically recorded and completely documented according to DIN 10100-7.
