We are delighted about your visit to our website as well as about your interest in our company and our products. On MA micro automation GmbH’s website some of your personal data will be collected. It is obligatory and natural for us to only collect, process and use this data in accordance with the relevant regulations governing the protection of personal data for the purpose of contract processing and the preservation of legitimate internal business interests with regard to the service and support for internet users and interested people. Which data will be collected by us and how we use such data can be found in the following information:

1. Data-gathering and processing

If the user visits our website information concerning all access to the website and all accesses to files stored on the website will be logged in an access protocol. Such protocol data will only be stored for internal system performance and statistical purposes.

2. Use and disclosure of personal data

We will only use your personal data for contract processing as well as customer- and technical-administration. Your personal data will only be forwarded to a third party if this is necessary for contract processing and for billing purposes or if you expressly consented thereto beforehand. You have the right to revoke the consent granted in this respect at any time, with effect for the future. The deletion of the personal data stored is carried out if you revoke your consent for the storage, if knowledge of the same is no longer necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose pursued or if the storage of the same is or will be inadmissible on other legal grounds.

Users, who have forwarded their telephone number and/or e-mail-address and/or further contact data to us and have separately agreed to their personal data being used in accordance with the relevant regulations governing the protection of personal data for our own advertising purposes, may be contacted by us via telephone, e-mail or letter to be informed about special offers.

Contact by e-mail or contact form

1. general
E-mails and details in the contact form on our homepage (hereinafter referred to as electronic messages), including the content, are forwarded to the processing department within the company and processed.
Since the largest number of electronic messages are subject to archiving in terms of content in accordance with the German Tax Code (AO), these electronic messages must be archived by us in accordance with legal requirements (up to 10 years).

a) E-mail
If you contact us directly by e-mail, the data you send – usually your e-mail address and possibly your name – will be stored on our mail server.

b) Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, any personal data you may have transmitted will automatically be temporarily stored. The data does not remain on the server and is only temporarily stored to generate an e-mail to our company and is deleted from the website when the contact form is sent. Such personal data transmitted to us by you on a voluntary basis will be stored for the purpose of processing or contacting you. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

2. deletion of electronic messages
The electronic messages remain in the mailbox and are deleted after the expiry of the standard deadlines (10 years). Since electronic messages cannot be treated differently in terms of content, we expressly point out that e-mail applications and private e-mails may also be affected by the permanent storage and archiving. We therefore ask you to refrain from sending private e-mails. For applications, see “Application by mail”.

Applications and application process
We collect and process applicants’ personal data for purposes of handling the application workflow. Processing may be carried out by various, including electronic, means. This holds true particularly if you, as an applicant, submit the relevant application documents to us electronically, e.g., by e-mail. In case we conclude an employment contract with you, the data transmitted will be stored in our system for purposes of managing the employment relation in accordance with the law. If no employment contract is concluded with you, the application documents will be deleted no later than two months from the announcement of the rejection decision, unless such deletion would contravene any other legitimate interests. The latter might include, e.g., an accountability obligation (burden of proof) in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) or the like.

Application by e-mail
In the case of an electronic application process based on e-mail the data will be printed out once and then forwarded in-house to the heads of the relevant departments who are (co-)responsible for deciding on your application. Our staff involved in the application process is specially trained, explicitly bound to confidentiality, and under instructions not to duplicate your application. Once a final decision has been taken, the documents will be returned to the Human Resources unit where it will be destroyed in a data-safe manner.

Application by hardcopy
In the case of an application process based on paper documents (hardcopy), the data will be forwarded in-house to the heads of the relevant departments who are (co-)responsible for deciding on your application. This may require copying your documents, or parts thereof. Our staff involved in the application process is specially trained, explicitly bound to confidentiality, and under instructions not to duplicate your application further. In view of accountability obligations we shall retain your application for the above-mentioned period. Thereafter, any potential copies of your application documents will be destroyed in a data-safe manner (by passing them through a shredder). Your original documents will be returned to you to relieve us of any further responsibility.

In the context of this privacy policy
a) the user agrees to the collection, processing and use of personal data by MA micro automation GmbH as far as this is necessary for the use of this internet service;

b) the protection of the user’s personal data is very important to MA micro automation GmbH and MA micro automation GmbH therefore commits itself to respect the user’s privacy. To ensure that MA micro automation GmbH can render the service owed to the user the collection and use of certain personal data of the user is necessary;
